Paul has a masters degree in aesthetic/restorative dentistry: composite bonding which is forte, veneers, crowns, smile makeovers, implant restorations (implant crowns).

Paul qualified from Kings College London in 1985. Modern dentistry is extremely complex. Very early on he realised that if it is practised privately at the highest level; once patients understand his way of working, they really appreciate being treated gently and kindly, having time spent with them, and using best quality materials, advanced techniques and state of the art equipment. Treatments provided in this way using high magnification optics are more stress free, comfortable, longer lasting, and in the long run, more economical. Several of Paul's patients have been with him since qualification and as a result, he has gained considerable insight into what treatments work and last well.

It has been proven that smiling is good for you and a beautiful smile can be beneficial to health and wellbeing. Paul is amongst the first of a small number of Dentists in the UK to complete the MSc degree course in Aesthetic Dentistry from Kings College London with distinction. This was a demanding three year course which has enabled him to offer state of the art cosmetic dental treatment; with in depth knowledge to ensure that the work you choose looks wonderful, is minimally invasive, and long lasting. Paul offers treatments ranging from isolated problem areas such as discoloured fillings to a mini-makeover (Whitening + minor work) to full smile-makeovers. Paul is also an Invisalign provider.

Paul has been involved in continuous Postgraduate Education ever since qualification, and completed the UCL Eastman Diploma in Restorative Dentistry in December 2000. He is currently a Module Lead and first examiner on the Kings College Aesthetic Dentistry MSc course, and am a former Chairman and for 10 years Secretary of the Brighton British Dental Association. With almost 20 years experience, Charlotte is a warm, approachable dentist who believes that great dentistry starts with real connections. Known for her friendly, down-to-earth nature, she loves getting to know her patients and being part of their treatment journeys from the very first conversation to the final smile reveal.

She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a special passion for clear aligner treatments and gentle, confidence-boosting anti-wrinkle procedures. Whether she’s transforming smiles or helping patients feel more at ease in their own skin, Charlotte brings a calm, reassuring presence to every appointment.

Outside the clinic, life is full (and wonderfully chaotic). She’s mum to two energetic boys, human to three cats and a new puppy, and can often be found running trails, skiing down a mountain, or lifting weights at the gym. When she’s not doing any of that, you’ll likely spot her on the side of a rugby pitch, serving as the team’s first aider and biggest cheerleader.

Dr. Dorina Contor graduated in 1998 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Bucharest, one of the top dental universities in Romania, obtaining her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree after successfully completing six years of study.

With over 20 years of clinical experience across Europe — including Romania, Ireland, and the United Kingdom — Dr. Contor has developed a broad expertise and a deep passion for aesthetic and restorative dentistry. She has performed numerous smile makeovers and enjoys helping her patients achieve their ideal oral health and confident smiles.

Dorina has a particular interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and is dedicated to providing high-quality, pain-free dental care in a calm and reassuring environment. She is appreciated for her meticulous attention to detail, gentle approach, and commitment to excellence in every treatment.

Outside of her professional life, Dorina enjoys long walks by the seaside and exploring the beautiful Sussex Downs hills and countryside views.

Dr. Antonoglou graduated as a dentist in 2011 from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and has since accumulated over a decade of experience in clinical practice, research, and teaching, firmly establishing himself within the dental profession.

He has been based in the UK since 2020, where he provides personalized, patient-centered care and manages a broad range of dental issues. Dr. Antonoglou collaborates closely with patients to devise tailored treatment plans and performs various procedures, including non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatments, with a focus on dental implant procedures. His expertise within periodontology includes digitally planned gingival recession coverage and full-arch implant treatments.

Dr. Antonoglou has pursued extensive postgraduate education across six European institutions: Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), the University of Oulu (Finland), the University of Umeå (Sweden), Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), the Medical University of Graz (Austria), and King’s College London (UK).

Passionate about teaching, Dr. Antonoglou shares his knowledge with undergraduate dental students at King’s College London, providing weekly tutorials on diagnosing and managing periodontal disease. He also mentors trainee periodontists in surgical techniques. To enhance his teaching skills, he completed a postgraduate certificate in clinical education from King’s College in 2024.

His research has been widely published in high-impact international journals in Periodontology and Dental Implantology, amassing over 1228 citations. His primary research interests include the relationship between systemic and periodontal health and the development of novel ceramic materials for dental implants.

The foundation of Perioexpert stems from the extensive network of dental specialists Dr. Antonoglou cultivated during his training across Europe and the UK, aiming to foster collaboration and innovation in the field of periodontology.
